Meet Cherie Hodgson

What are the most important parts of your job?
There are two areas of my job I consider most important. The first is helping students understand our programs and all the options that are available to them. The second is encouraging them to make the program work for them. Another important aspect is developing the one on one connections that make our Department a close community. I want students to understand I'm here to talk and counsel them throughout their time in college.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing student at their initial prospective visit to the time they walk the aisle at graduation is extremely rewarding. I enjoy seeing the changes that take place in their lives throughout their time at K-State -- their maturing, realization of dreams, and hope for their future careers.
