Keith Harris, MAB Alumnus and Advisory Board member “My plan to complete a Master’s Degree seemed to be moving beyond my reach. I specifically wanted to gain additional depth within the food industry so an MBA program did not fit my needs. I started another master degree early in my career but because of a job change that sent me to another city, I was unable to complete it. I knew my schedule was more aggressive than earlier in my career so I had to find a Masters program that was flexible but rigorous. The Master of Agribusiness at Kansas State University was ideal for me. I was able to take problems in my role as Director of Corporate Purchasing to the ‘classroom’ and work through them with the tools being given to me. Each class offered something that I was able to apply immediately in my day-to-day work. In fact, I feel like I was able to offer a more thorough analysis and provide well thought out solutions to some of the problems that plagued my organization.”
