David Lambert earned a Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from Oregon State University and his master´s and bachelor´s degrees from the University of California-Davis. He also spent one and a half years at Georg August Universität in Göttingen, Germany. He has served as faculty at North Dakota State University and the University of Nevada, Reno. During his years at NDSU and the University of Nevada, Reno, he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in microeconomics and quantitative methods, authored numerous journal articles, and served a three-year term as the editor of the Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
