Kevin Dhuyvetter assists farmers throughout Kansas with risk and return assessment of alternative methods for crops and livestock production and their impact on the environment. He also works extensively with land-related issues such as buying and leasing land. Current research and extension efforts are examining relationships between energy prices and crop inputs, estimating crop yield and fertility/water relationships, economics of no-tillage, feeder cattle basis, and the costs and benefit of animal ID.
